Shavon Carter is the “YOU” Relationship Coach, Author, and Speaker with a passion for empowering women to fulfill their life’s purpose. She is the founder of Walking In Wholeness, LLC where she helps women from all walks learn how to enhance their relationship with self and others. In 2007, she also co-founded the former nonprofit organization Living4Today Inspirations, Inc. where she wrote daily inspirations filled with Godly revelation and wisdom to uplift the soul and rejuvenate the spirit. In 2011 she started Purposed Publishing Company and published her first book, “Living For Today: Inspirations For the Soul” to encourage those on the verge of giving up hope in different areas of their lives. In 2017 she published her autobiography, “Dear Ms. Wholeness” detailing her personal journey of transformation and healing from dysfunctional relationships. In 2018, she co-authored and published “REAL Women On The Journey: A Traveler’s Guide For Everyday Life,” a book of powerful stories by REAL Women.
As a powerful and impactful speaker, she has been invited to speak at several events including the Women of God Conference in Atlanta, GA; Victory Temple Missionary Baptist Church Women’s Retreat in North East, MD; S.T.A.R.S Conference in Alexandria, VA; Shalom Christian Ministries Center Youth Day in Ft Washington, MD; and the Walking In Your Purpose Weekend Retreat hosted by Living4Today Inspirations, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL. Shavon formerly served at the Bowie Pregnancy Clinic where as a Crisis Counselor, Life Sense Teacher and post abortion bible study facilitator. Through this Christian crisis pregnancy ministry, Shavon shared her own testimony of abortion, encouraged women to choose life for their unborn children, and helped women heal from their past abortions. She currently serves as a Facilitator for REAL Women, a non-profit organization that creates a safe space for women to do REAL personal development work on themselves.
Shavon is a native of Jacksonville, FL but currently resides in Bowie, MD. She graduated from Florida A&M University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. In 2004, she obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix-Northern Virginia campus. In 2017, she completed a rigorous, 12-month Coaching and Leadership through Accomplishment Coaching. Currently, she is employed with the Department of Defense as an Audit Director.
Shavon attributes all of her success and accomplishments to God and understands that without Him, she would be nothing. She is driven by her calling to do great things and reach millions through the unique gifts and abilities God has given her.
